Some organisations talk about their social media strategy, while others talk about their social business strategy. While you may think they are two phrases for the same thing, they are actually different. So let me break it down for you.
More and more companies are integrating social media into their business, but with so many different platforms to choose from it can be hard to know what ones are right for your company. This week I will share Cook’s 4 C model which helps companies to identifying which social media platforms are right for them. I then take a look at Cisco, a company who set up their own SOCIAL policy for social media.
So you have started a Facebook page for your small business or not for profit organisation, but now what do you do? It is simply not enough to just create a social media page, it has to be monitored and maintained by the business to achieve the full potential social media offers.
